Beloved Freaks!

We’ve had a few lineup changes to announce. Obviously, in light of their canceled tour due to the ongoing invasion of their home country in Ukraine, Stoned Jesus will not play. Also Alex Henry Foster and Psyence have had to drop off.
While we wouldn’t say we’re ‘replacing’ them, we’re glad to unveil new additions to the lineup to play in those spots. Please welcome The Great Machine, Orsak:Oslo and Urlaub in Polen to Freak Valley 2023!

THE GREAT MACHINE
This year the Israeli powerhouse rockers have released ‘Funrider,’ their fifth album, and it’s a monster we can’t wait to see brought to life – a goes-anywhere blend of heavy, garage, punk, prog, fuzz and whatever else it wants to be. These guys are one of a kind and we’re thrilled to welcome them back for the first time since 2017!

URLAUB IN POLEN
We saw them not too long ago and knew they had to play somehow. Long-running krautrock/prog experimentalists Urlaub in Polen will come to Freak Valley as heroes of the weird, fully dug into the embrace of their own creative impulses and ready to bring the rest of us along for the trip. Get ready to be transported.

ORSAK:OSLO
Orsak:Oslo’s new LP is called ‘In Irons’ and it’s a true experience of sonic immersion. A record that creates its own space and explores it freely. Based in Sweden and Norway, the group are no strangers to heavier thud, but their work is just as striking in its minute details, and as they come to FVF for the first time, you’ll want to be paying attention.
